 | “You can take the man out of Texas, but you can’t take the Texas out of the man”, thus after a brief stint in New Mexico I have returned home to pursue my graduate studies. I first discovered the joy of sharing my city as a tour guide on the riverwalk and with nearly a decade of experience of cruising along the river I am thrilled to now be “gliding” along the streets on Segways. What has lured me to our tour is the opportunity to truly be your personal concierge on your exploration of my beloved home. From explaining our rich local history to revealing hidden romantic spots downtown or even directing you to my favorite watering holes I eagerly await the opportunity to share with you why my heart has always been in Texas.

 | I'll be glad to guide you through our great city! On our ride, we'll share great historical facts, enjoy some amazing architecture and we'll even stop to take some fantastic photos along the way! I have lived in San Antonio since 1997. My true intention was to live here as my first stop after college... but after being fortunate enough to travel across the U.S., Europe, Mexico and China, San Antonio is still the city I love calling home. I have found that Segway-ing through San Antonio is the best way to experience where Tex-Mex meets Old West. It is truly an awesome, fun experience. I hope to see you on a Segway soon! Until then, be good, healthy and safe! |
 | Hi there all you future Segway enthusiasts, my name is Brian and I am a tour guide here at SegCity San Antonio. To tell you little about myself, I moved to Texas from Las Vegas Nevada as fast as I could. San Antonio certainly has the nicest weather and there is a rich history that only a few cities in America can compare to. I was born in New Orleans and since then I have live in Manassas Virginia, Moscow Idaho, and I graduated from Charlie m Russel high school in Great Falls Montana in 2002. San Antonio is my new home and I would love to show you why I believe it is a wonderful place to live or visit. When you are on your tour here at SegCity, if I am lucky enough to be the guide, then I am sure we will have a great time together. Thanks Brian |
 | Greeting Folks and Bienvenidos ('Welcome') to good ol' San Antonio! I am delighted to share in your Segway journey through beautiful S.A. In this fun filled ride, I will bring with me the following tools: a passion for history, geography, architecture, and the cultural melting pot that makes this city alive. I was born in Argentina and began my American journey at the age of 9. I've spent most of the last decade within the "Texas Triangle", namely, College Station, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. I enjoy teaching high school and college students the world of the Humanities (ancient civilizations, architecture, philosophy and religion) and spending time outside riding my bikes along the "Texas hill country" trails!

 | Welcome future Segway riders! I was born in upstate New York but raised in McAllen, TX all my life until I moved to San Antonio about four years ago to attend the University of Incarnate Word, where I obtained a Bachelor's in Fashion Management. My goal is to one day have my own line of designs and/or a boutique. Usually, my hobbies include reading, sewing and sketching my fashion designs but I also love going to the movies, seeing museum exhibits and trying new foods (vegetarian of course)! I just love the hustle and bustle of this city but downtown San Antonio is my favorite place to be. I never thought I'd be riding a Segway through San Antonio but it?s really awesome! I'd tell you just how awesome but it's something you just have to experience first-hand. Just come visit SegCity and see for yourself!

 | Born in San Francisco, CA but primarily brought up in San Antonio, TX I consider myself a Texan. I love the rich culture, beautiful architecture and thriving arts community. I'm currently a college student on a short hiatus.
Working at SegCity gives me the opportunity to be surrounded by wonderful people who love this magnificent city as much as I do. I like to consider us all here to be a family and after a few moments in our door I know you feel the same. Being the first person generally contacted about our wonderful tours gives me a sense of excitement and anticipation that can't be fulfilled anywhere else. |
 | Hola! Bienvenidos a San Antonio! I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago called Aurora. I visited San Antonio in December of 06 and fell in love with the city! To me personally, it is a big city with a small town feel. So I decided to leave and experience San Antonio more personally. Plus I don't miss the cold weather at all! I am currently seeking my degree in elementary education and plan on graduating in May of 09. Working for SegCity allows me to meet so many different people and learn more about their cultures, while still learning about San Antonio itself. We have even had Flat Stanley visit us here! I also get to learn more in depth about the technology of the Segway. Overall, the experience of riding the Segway makes the tour so much more enjoyable! It is an experience that you will never forget! |
 | I grew up mostly in a west Texas town named Kermit, I found my way here in late 1998. I was drawn to San Antonio in a luring, mysterious way. And today... this is home for me more than any other place that I have ever known.
My introduction to guiding was in April 2000, when I was invited to work with Yanaguana (now Rio San Antonio) Cruises, doing the romantic river boat tours. Nine years later, I am still floating around our enchanting city, but now on an amazing Segway. I love San Antonio, a magical melting pot of family, festivities, fun, food, culture, and friendly people, all centered around this meandering river. What a fabulous city we live in. Our story is grand. We love to tell it. Let us share it with you. |
 | I am a native San Antonian, born and raised & been a San Antonio Police Officer for 15yrs. I hold a bachelors degree in criminal justice, & recorded more life experience working the barrios of San Antonio than I care to remember. My hobbies include scuba diving, most sports, and design & fabrication of my ideas: two of which have been patented & in the production process for stores such as Walmart.
I have been fascinated with segways ever since seeing them in action downtown. My inquisitive nature wants to tear one appart to see how it works, & design several accessory attachments. The versatile nature of the segway appeals to me as it has practical appilcation to many segments of our society, & I want to make them accessible to anyone & everyone who has a need, or a desire to have a little fun on one. |
At SegCity San Antonio you will be assured of getting some of the finest tour guides in the entire city. In just a few minutes of walking into our store you will see that our tour guides are passionate about their work. They love their job, they're great with people and will share their enthusiasm and incredible knowledge and love of the city of San Antonio.
